These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of PageChat (the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

PageChat is a browser extension and web service that lets users view and post comments tied to specific webpages. We may add, remove, or change features at any time.

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. You are responsible for all activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure.

You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

You agree not to:

• Post unlawful, harmful, harassing, hateful, or misleading content
• Post spam, ads, or unauthorized commercial content
• Infringe the rights of others (including privacy and intellectual property)
• Attempt to access the Service or other accounts without authorization
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service (including using automated abuse)

You retain ownership of content you submit ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant PageChat a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, and distribute your User Content for the purpose of operating and improving the Service.

You are solely responsible for your User Content and represent that you have all rights necessary to grant the license above.

Some features may require a paid subscription. Subscriptions may renew automatically unless you cancel. Prices, taxes, and billing terms will be shown at checkout.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not endorse and are not responsible for User Content. Use the Service at your own risk.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PAGECHAT WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR USE.

IN NO EVENT WILL PAGECHAT'S TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO PAGECHAT IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to the Service if you violate these Terms or if we reasonably believe your use creates risk or legal exposure.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, excluding its conflict of laws rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, USA.

If you are a consumer in the UK or the European Economic Area, mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence may apply and nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights. You may be able to bring claims in your local courts.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice by updating the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, by additional notice. Continued use of the Service means you accept the updated Terms.
